Eh! Oh! Canada! Go!

WOOHOOO!!!! GO CANADA!!!!!!!!! the vancouver olympics may have came to a subtle end but all of canada is still partying about all the events that have been happening during the olympics. All the sports were sooo fun to watch, especially \figure skating, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir were terrific on ice and they deserve the gold they got for CANADA!!!!! Joannie Rochette could have easily not skated but she got the courage and skated for her mom who died of a heart attack a couple of days earlier, and she toughed it out and got Bronze... \team CANADA beat the U.S.A in hockey earlier!!!!!!!!!!! GO CANADA GO!!!!! after the U.S brutal win a couple of days ago canada finally beat them!! and for all the other sports like skeleton snowboarding ETC. they rocked. but who thought curling would become fun. i never really saw curling a sport and i never got the concept but this year i did... it is definently an \EXCITING sport its was really fun to watch. well back to the point on Polyvore i made a tribute to canada check out the pic. below :)

Lunch With Lenin and Other Stories by: Deborah Ellis

  This book is actually a REALLY good book. Its about, how drugs have affected peoples lives , indirectly and directly some of the stories are pretty rough. This book has 10 different stories, all involving drugs or alcohol. They are all teens or young adults and some of the stories are really touching. I encourage you to read this book because it is very interesting and a great read.  Deborah Ellis was very clever to write a book like this. But i wonder where she has gotten the stories... and she has written them in such depth. Maybe Other people have written the stories and she put them in one book after editing them. Either way this book is a great read it teaches you alot about drugs in a way you wouldn't even realize you were learning anything at all. It is a short read i probably finished it in about 5 hours. So if you read this book let me know what you think about it.

  This is sort of a rip off of twilight but it ROCKS. Alyson Noël was pretty smart to make a more realistic yet more fantasy in the end version of twilight. here is the description in the book "Since a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, Ever can see auras, hear people's thoughts, and know a person's entire life story by touch. Going out of her way to avoid human contact and suppress her abilities has branded her as a freak at her new high school—but everything changes when she meets Damen.

The only thing she knows to be true is she's falling deeply and helplessly in love with him" the novel teens read too calls " Evermore is addictive. When i wasn't reading. I was thinking about how I could sneak away to read some more. I couldn't put it down. I dreamt about this book. And when i finished, I couldnt get it out of my head. this book was simply breathtaking" i Understand what they meant about this book i felt the same way but not as strongly i felt more strongly like this when i was reading Skinned and Crashed by Robin Wasserman.  I can't relate to this book alot and i think it was a complete rip off of twilight by stephanie meyer but the end was different... A bit wierd but it was okay.... well read it and tell me what you think                          where i got this book from

Even if it means he'll hate her forever" This book was much better than the first. it was heart-breaking, and mending. it was dramatic, scandalous, cute and full of envy (this may not the proper use of the word but for some reason i feel it fits there) In this book Lia finds a new love, and a new loss. A new crush, and a broken heart. A ex- best friend has to be saved and so does the boy she loves... who will she choose? she obviously still loves the X-BFF with all her heart but same goes for the boy she loves. The life she lives is incredible until she is framed for something she didn't do something serious. She lives with denial but she doesn't realize it... but someone does... There is so much drama in this book... the third book in the trilogy is still being written ... it is rumored to be called "wired" but this book will keep you hungover with all the drama time will pass by too quick. READ IT!

Skinned: Everyone will die someday. Everone but Lia. By: Robin Wasserman

The Novel Scott Westerfeld calls " A spellbinding story about loss, rebirth, and finding out who we really are inside" This book was AMAZING but not exactly everything Scott westerfeld said... here is the description provided in the book " Dying was bad enough. But it was better than what came next...Lia Kahn was perfect: Rich, beautiful, popular--- until the accident that nearly killed her. Now she has been downloaded into a new body that only looks human. Lia will never feel pain again, she will never age, and she can't ever truly die. But she is also rejected by her friends, betrayed by her boyfriend, and alienated from her old life.
 Forced to the fringes of society, Lia joins others like her, But they are looked at as freaks. Thet are hated... and feared. They are everything but human, and according to most people this is the ultimate crime--- for which they must pay the ultimate price" P.S this novel was written by Robin Wasserman. So the description sounds interesting doesn't it. I spent a year debating whether i should buy it or not... In the end i bought it and im glad i did. This was one of the best/ most interesting books i have ever read. I have read Robin Wasserman's trilogy "chasing yesterday" which influenced me to find out about "skinned" This book isn't the usual Plots you usually read... It is filled with scandal, Drama AND sci-fi and much more.... I encourage you to read it. I cant say anything more, without spoiling the book.READ IT THOUGH!!
